| August 20, 2008 | to | August 23, 2008 |
This camp will be an appropriate mix of learning, practicing skills, outdoor activity, biblical teaching, and just plain fun.
All ALERT Cadet members INCLUDING those that are still working on their BTM are encouraged to attend!
The goal of the camp is to give fathers the opportunity to win and keep the hearts of their sons as they grow and develop.
A service project, utilizing the learned skills and assisting the camp hosting location, will be a part of the camp to help fathers and sons learn a heart for service and to defray some of the costs.
Camp begins Wednesday afternoon and ends at Noon on Saturday. Fathers and sons may stay at the camp overnight Saturday night as well, although there will be no scheduled activities.
Activities: Delighting in God’s Word, High Ropes Course, Fawver Center Dodge Ball, Canoe Race, Glow in the Dark Ultimate Frisbee, and Campfire Time.
Registration: Call 903-636-9228 to register for the camp and pay fees. Advance registration will help us in making good estimates for food and materials needed for the camp.
Place: The site of the encampment is Camp Tilikum, 15321 NE North Valley Road, Newburg, PR 97132. The camp is between Newberg and Gaston, OR.
