One goal of the ALERT Cadet program is to develop a heart of service in a young man.

To this end, ALERT Cadet units may respond and work alongside ALERT men, at the request of local, national, and international authorities, to provide crisis response assistance, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid.

Here are some of the disaster relief deployments where ALERT Cadet units have served:

February 2008 – Ash Flat, AK – Tornado Relief
February 2006 – Amherst, VA – Ice Storm Clean Up
September 2005 – Albita Springs, LA – Hurricane Katrina Relief
September 2005 – Hattisburg, MS – Hurricane Katrina Relief
August 2005 – Viola, WI – Tornado Clean Up
2004 – Florida – Hurricane Relief
